FAQ

Before your first request

Do I need an account for a free bin?

No account or install is required. Complete a quick browser human check to generate an ingest URL for your sender and a secret view URL for inspection. Be sure to save that secret view URL.

Who can see the requests in my bin?

Anyone with your full secret view URL can view the requests. The view key is the part after # and cannot be recovered if lost. The ingest URL alone never grants read access to payloads.

What happens after 48 hours?

Access to an anonymous bin expires after 48 hours, and its requests will no longer be accessible. To keep a bin past the timer, claim it from the bin page with a free Google sign-in before it self-destructs: the timer stops and new captures get a 30-day rolling history, while requests captured before claiming keep their original expiry. Otherwise, download any payload data you need beforehand; creating another bin provides an entirely new URL and view key.

Can I keep my free URL when I move to Solo?

No. Free bins live on webhooks.page, while Solo gives you named URLs on webhooks.host. When you upgrade, point your webhook sender at your new persistent URL.

Can Solo forward webhooks to my own server?

Yes. Each Solo endpoint forwards every request it captures to up to 3 HTTPS URLs you verify. Requests keep their method, body and headers, carry an X-Webhooks-Signature you can check, and failed sends get up to 3 attempts within an hour. Each attempt's status code shows next to the request in your dashboard.
