webhooks.sh — Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of webhooks.sh, webhooks.host, and webhooks.page, operated by Bitgate, Inc. ("we"). By creating a bin, using an endpoint, or paying for a plan, you accept them. They are written to be read — no defined-terms gymnastics.
The service
webhooks.sh gives you persistent webhook endpoints: one URL you paste into a sender (Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, …), after which we receive, store, and let you inspect, replay, and forward the requests that arrive. Anyone can create a free, anonymous bin on webhooks.page without an account. Paid endpoints on webhooks.host, accounts, and API access require a plan.
Your traffic
You are responsible for the senders you point at your endpoint and for what you do with the data that lands in it. Webhook payloads often contain personal data from your own users; you must have the right to receive and process whatever you route through the service. We do not review traffic before it is stored.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for:
- phishing, credential harvesting, or impersonating a service you don't operate;
- receiving or distributing malware, or linking to it;
- child sexual abuse material — reported to the relevant authorities, not just removed;
- doxxing or publishing someone's private data;
- activity that infringes others' rights or is otherwise illegal;
- spam infrastructure, including SEO spam farms;
- attacking, probing, or overloading the service, or evading limits, takedowns, or plan restrictions.
Unguessable URLs are access control, not a liability shield. Report abuse to abuse@webhooks.sh or via the report button on any bin.
Takedown and termination
We may suspend any endpoint, bin, or account at our discretion, with or without notice. A killed hostname stops ingesting at the edge immediately; confirmed abuse is removed and does not come back. Repeat abuse forfeits the account — including its subscription — without refund.
Expiry and retention
Free bins are disposable: they expire after 48 hours and their stored requests are deleted. Paid retention depends on your plan, but we make no promise of permanent storage and keep no backups for you. Keep your own copies of anything you care about.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You can cancel any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for reliability but offer no uptime guarantee or SLA.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost business — arising from the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above tracks that. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
